Jim’s Journal: A Note to Self!

Jim, you have to turn things around quicker.  No excuses!  You have to respond to emails, texts, tweets and phone calls with more urgency.  I don’t care how busy you are or how busy things seem to be, you have to bring more urgency to your response time.  It’s one of your company’s core values, right?  Don’t you become annoyed when people are slow to respond to you?  And, every time you turn things around quickly don’t you get a rousing, “Thank you!” from the recipient?  So lead by example.  Practice what you preach and what you teach.  Take the lead in the Q.T. (quick turnaround) Campaign.  Surprise people by getting it to them (or getting back to them) quicker than anyone else.  You want to continue to create meaningful moments, right?
