Jim’s Journal: Maintain Your Mo!

We’re about to move into 2014.  The chestnuts have stopped roasting, but we’re just beginning to fan our flames.  Many of us appear anxious to burst into the new year like horses ready to break out of the gate to run for the derby crown.  We’ve been here before though.  We vow to put the past behind us.  We talk about the people we’re going to delete from our life and the pounds we’re going to drop from our frame.  All of our status updates and social media posts and pictures zealously describe the fireworks that we’re going to create going forward.  Then it happens!  You know what I’m talking about!  Within two weeks, it’s back to the way it was.  We fall back into our previous patterns.  It’s back to the “S.O.S.” (i.e., same old stuff).  What can we do to maintain our mo (i.e., momentum)?  Make sure you read tomorrow’s journal to find out.
