Jim’s Journal: Where’s My Car?

October 28, 2013 in Jim's Journal

Have you ever returned to the parking lot and could not find your car?  Whether it was returning from a flight, leaving a stadium after a game or heading to your car after shopping, you didn’t have a clue where you parked.  After giving it some deep thought, replaying in your head what you did when you first arrived, you remember!  In most cases the car is pretty close to where you’re standing.  I liken this to us pursuing our goals and dreams.  We start out on fire then lose our way.  We forget our “why” (i.e., our reason or purpose).  We move into a life of just going through the motions, day in and day out.  Eventually, begrudgingly, we start to search for answers.  We look here and there.  We even seek feedback and direction from our mentors and those closest to us.  After a period of time, in many cases, we realize that our answers are right in front of us – just like our car.  For many of us it’s time to find our car (i.e., dreams and goals)!  Rekindle your fire!  Restore the magic!  You can start right now!  What are you waiting for?

We provide the most transformational and empowering tools and experiences that challenge people to live and perform OUT LOUD!
