Jim’s Journal: Are You in Scoring Position?

July 7, 2013 in Jim's Journal

During baseball games, when their team is at bat, you will always hear coaches say that they have to get their players into “scoring position” (i.e., they have to get their base runner to second or third base so that one hit can score him or her).  They employ steals, bunts or sacrifice flies (i.e., long fly balls to the outfield).  But the goal is to get the base runner closer to scoring a run.  My question to you: Are you in scoring position relative to obtaining your goals?  Do you have people in your life that help you move closer to fulfilling your dreams?  You may want to give this some thought and then, hit the field!
