Jim’s Journal: Predictable is Overrated!

May 15, 2013 in Jim's Journal

During my BOOT CAMPs I teach people how to tell stories.  I give them a 10-step process and I even spend time showing them how to add POP, sizzle and theater to their stories.  I model for them how to do it because I want them to see how raw, real and vulnerable they can be.  Then it’s their turn; I let them practice their new story-telling skills in front of the entire room.  I truly believe in the “tell them, show them, and then let them” approach to learning.  I have them sign up based on what order they’d like to present in.  That’s when the fun begins – I go out of order!  I take them out of their comfort zone!  Wouldn’t it be nice if life was predictable?

We provide the most transformational and empowering tools and experiences that challenge people to live and perform OUT LOUD!
